ALPHA AND OMEGA

As I crawled my way through the dark and lonely passage of time the plodding panic of this world's malady bound me to the earth and frustrated my desire for the true light, yet the more I strove to end my tortuous journey so much more did the living shadows hold me back. And during the whole of this time my life was bruised by the unseen hands in the shadows that offer no mercy, I despaired of ever seeing the light. But in my travail I confided in my soul and saw fit to close my eyes and shut out the dark.

The noisy despair of my journey from birth receded into darkness and disintegrated in time and the understanding of my soul saw the finger of God beckoning me towards the light. Even though my inner self went on before me to commune with the spirit of antiquity yet did my life need to meet the challenge of the noisome darkness, but I was restored and encouraged with the articulation of myselves and the higher others, in the nocturnal watches. The nocturnal light that illumined my thoughts, was it from without or within?, and the strength to dream and the courage to see with my eyes closed, wasn't that from without?

I closed my eyes and saw the light, the shadows receded into the darkness and my fingers that had always groped for the truth but remained empty handed were now reaping a golden harvest. The other reality was revealed to me in a further dimension and among all the other glories attendant upon continuing life, I could now see that there was no beginning, neither was there an end.

We who live in this creation are part of all the other creations and from before time shall we journey through space into other perceptions so that with our eyes closed we may perceive the eternal wisdom of the Creator in the infinity of all things.

This was the first conscious opus of Daniel's soul invoked by his first heart attack in 1967. Alpha and omega symbolically depicts eternity as there is no beginning nor ending during our spiritual journey. During this near death experience Daniel's true destiny for this life time became apparent. His reprieve truly reaped a golden harvest as he created one hundred masterpieces over the ensuing twenty years. His mission on this planet accomplished, Daniel closed his eyes to perceive the alpha and omega of his Creator.
